Model U-500 Upright Grand Piano (Oak Cabinet)
Manufactured in 2010. Premium American made upright piano. No longer in production. Known for their soundboard design, considerably larger and more efficient than other comparable pianos. The tone is amazing!

RIBS - 15 straight grained pine ribs unequally spaced to distribute energy over entire soundboard surface.
PLATE - Four corner, full perimeter grey iron casting beautifully engineered to support the 44,000 lbs. tension of the newly strung back without the aid of wooden posts.
PRESSURE BARS - 5/8 inch thick pressure bars bolted to the plate with machine screws.
BASS BRIDGE - Apron type construction to maintain maximum string length without loss of fundamental harmonics.
TREBLE BRIDGE - Multi-laminated hard rock maple, crowned with soundboard making it 300% stronger than conventional construction.
PEDALS - Half-blow, sustaining, and bass sustaining.
TUNING PINS - 2 1/2 inch nickel-plated with blued threads for tuning stability.
HARDWARE - Solid brass.
TOUCH - Very responsive. Concert standard 10mm key dip.
TONE - Rich, deep, full. Extended audible decay
